villain runs 20/13/2.2 over 3k mostly datamined hands.
i've not paid too much attention to him, havent seen him do anything that would catch my eye. my table image is a bit fast, but nothing wild.
I couldnt see any legit Kx here, and i was thinking he wouldnt shove with a set given stack sizes and pot size... so i'm goot to call

I think you are flipping vs stuff like 9xdd/Axdd a lot, but I'm afraid it will be a made hand often enough to make it a bad call. He min raised UTG so Kx wouldn't exactly be mind blowing.

Sorry, I misread. I still don't like it cause you are never far ahead, but I agree that Kx is less likely.

edit: fwiw, I kind of like shoving 55 here from villains perspective.

I'm all for playing like a station but this is kinda rediculous. Yes he will have a combo draw plenty of times but when he doesn't you are drawing very thin.

tufat remember when we talked about overpairs on combo drawy boards, you explained to me that I should be folding overpairs to a b/3bAI there because I was marginally ahead or way behind. Same situation here really, he either has a set or a big draw (I agree, rarely a K and rarely a bluff)...

But would you really fold AA? I've already been in a spot very close to this, the guy did have middle set but i thought thinking of folding would be result oriented.

Flush draw + Overcard or hand thats killing you. Fold and move on, it's really that simple. Players just don't invest that much money on hands that don't beat middle pair. Even if they do its super exploitable. I've done this against player (not min-raise pf) but just huge overbets in hopes that they'll overthink and call light. Don't be that guy.

JJ does not equal AA here. LC is saying that even AA is a fold in his opinion so JJ is even more so.

I think he would call JJ here but fold AA, if he had AA especially AAh then it is less likely that villain has a flush draw or AA/AK type hands!

AA had a lot more equity against FDs, and AK isn't totally out of villain's range, I think folding AA here is bad.

i would pretty much completely discount ak when a guy flats pf twice vs. a min-raise and 3-bet and then shoves 150bb+ on this flop.

Whoops didn't see it was a minraise, I was wondering why there was so much back. Also I played with PStove and even with generous ranges this is a fold with AA.

my somewhat tight range for his shove here is 99, 55, NFD, combo draw like 9xdd or 87dd. See how you fare against that range and decide. I don't think any king by itself is shoving here often, even AK.

The only thing you beat(tie) is a draw, and this is a draw or set 95% of the time.

I would reraise bigger preflop.

tbh, this is the range I would give, and even if you discount 99 completely I think it's still a bad call.
