Default Canadian Poker Championships in Bahamas?

Been away from poker for a while so sorry if this topic has already been discussed.

I see Party pushing the Canadian poker championships in the bahamas. Sounds great....with me being canadian and all...but no where did i read that that event is only restricted to canadian citizens.

Corect me if im wrong, but what is the point of making a poker tournament in the bahamas a Canadian thing if its not restricted to canadians?

Cause its too damn cold to have it in Canada. Plus if it was hosted here we could never get all the Bush haters to go back to the USA

They were showing this on TV yesterday on Global I do believe. The feature table aws at 25/50 blinds and had TJ Cloutier at it. Busted out early with A-K against A-A tried to teach the table there mistakes.

Canadian poker on TV sucks. I have not seen worse players. And I'm Canadian.
