Default Hand vs. Pavel

Party Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Hero (SB): $217.35
BB: $228.84
UTG: $101.20
CO: $200.00
BTN: $416.56

Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 Players)
UTG folds, CO checks, BTN calls $2.00, Hero calls $1.00, BB checks

Flop: ($8) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $5.00</font>, BB calls $5.00, <font color="red">CO raises to $16.00</font>, BTN folds, Hero?

CO is Pavel. Button is a 14/10 nit. I'll post turn after some discussion.

i like just calling his raise and seeing the next card, but chances are your fd might be no good with the bb in the hand also, ignore what i have said though because i practice avoidance on pavel

I'd 3bet flop. It looks like he has a tp or a draw himself w/ that dinky raise. He should fold tp and you have plenty of equity if he doesnt and you obv love to get it in v other fds here. Even if has a big hnd which is unlikely given pf and your hnd you still arent a huge dog.

As played I'd likely c/c turn and do stuff on various rivers.

Paul
