Last week straght flush
What is the probability to get a royal flush at the turn in HL with a JQ suited in the pocket.

Re: Last week straght flush
If there is not at least two of AKT of the same suit as your pocket then 0%.
Assuming you have two of those cards then it's 1/47- a little over 2%, |

Re: Last week straight flush
You need 3 out of 4 cards to be your SF cards, order doesnt matter.
C(3,3)*C(47,1)/C(50,4)=.000204....a little over 2 out of 10,000. |

[/ QUOTE ] Just to be clear, this is the probability of making a royal flush by the turn with QJs. Approximately triple this if you're interested in a SF in general, which would include KT9 and T98. (We're double-counting things like AKT9, but whatever.) For a royal flush by the river, it's C(3,3)*C(47,2)/C(50,5) = 1/1960. |
