i was told by friend that bill gates has played 3/6 nl in the past and was wondering if anyone knows if there is any truth to that?

actually ya i remember reading in bluff magazine that when in town he ofen plays 3/6 nl or lower at the mirage

It's 3/6 Limit. This is one of those stories that people put in their books or Cardplayer articles when they can't think of anything else, and since I read all that crap I've heard it 4.6 million times.

Hes too bad at poker and too smart with money to play 300/600. Plus to him, 3/6 is the same as 300/600, so he just plays where its commensurate to his skill and where people are trying to win and he can have fun.
