Default Big Sky Lanes / Eureka Casino, Montana

Hi

I overheard a conversation about a casino close to the Canadian border. They called it Eureka Casino.

I later tried to google it, and found someting...:

Anyway, does anybody know this casino and know what kind of poker action is found here?

Thanks in advance

Casino in Montana is a deceptive term. Casinos in Montana usually consist of a few Video Poker and Video Keno machines a bar and Maybe a poker table. You will not find any casino games like Blackjack, craps or roulette, not even a real slot machine. Usually with Poker they get a game going a couple of times a week Maybe there is a designated poker night and they get a game going on that night, MAYBE.

There are some places I have seen that get a game going every day but I believe that would be the exception rather than the rule

Here is a link to all the places in Montana that are licensed to play poker. I did a quick search on the list and there were several places in Eureka that were licensed but I did not see the one you are asking about. Do NOT assume that just because a place is on this list and licensed that there is going to be a game. A couple of months ago I was in Helena and went to at least 5 places that had a table but did offer poker any more and only found one place in town that had a game going during the week. Several other places that had a table never even got a game going during the week even though they were open and ready to go, this includes the Helena Bluff Magazine Card Room.

drive an hour south of eureka to whitefish or kalispell and you will find lots of games.
montana has a law of 300 dollars max in the pot. so the games are smaller but action filled.
