Default Virus on my computer?

Sorry if this in the wrong forum. Anyway the stuff I circled in red pops up occasionally. The box in green is something that is ALWAYS in the lower left corner. It does not open or close. Plus internet explorers homepage awlays switchs to some website that I don't set it to. I ran a virus scan and nothing turned up.

do you have spyware protection on your PC?
If not download one of these: Windows Defender/Spybot Search and Destroy/AdAware....
run it and see if it helps...

Download all of these. Plus a virus scanner like AVG from www.grisoft.com

Press ctrl-alt-del and try to kill the task from within task manager asap.

Then type msconfig in Run and then click the Startup tab and see if you can see the name of the application listed their. If you can then, uncheck it to make sure it doesn't load next time you reboot.

Reboot your PC just to check it hasn't managed to reload itself somehow and then if it's now not running look in the startup tab again and find the path where it is stored and delete it.

This isn't 100%, so you want to make sure you scan your system with a virus killer and/or Adaware too.

When I opened this I could only see the top of the screen shot....only down to where it said "Out of stack space." I seriously expected to scroll down and find this to be a gag pic and the rest of the screen to be completely filled with poker chips.

That is all.
