Minraises like this usually say "I hit this board, nya nya, AK no good" to me. That, a draw, or two pair. Two pair ain't no fun, but the others you crush. I think you're >40% here, so putting in the money is fine.

The min raise looks like a way to get a free card when youi check to him on the turn. You didn't let that fly , but he called all in anyway. I figure 10h, and maybe Ah,or Kh. I figure Top pair would have reraised larger. Please post results tomorrow.

Meh. Probably OK.

Bet the flop stronger than $12 though with 3 villians in the hand with you. Full pot, much better.

You lose to a flopped set here or are behind QKh way more than 60% of the time. Pushing here is the worst option, as it ensures you lose the maximum when behind and win the minimum when ahead.

Here's how I deal with this situation... I would call the minraise some of the time and fold the minraise some of the time, depending on read. From then on, it's pot control time. If you call and he bets the turn hard, happily fold. If the (blank) turn is checked to you, check or bet half the pot, again depending on read. If checkraised again, fold. Check behind or call a reasonable bet on the river.

Many of you will call this weak/tight, but my thinking is that I will play a LOT of hands in my career, and there are far better places to get my stack in the middle than with 2 players showing strong interest while all I hold is an overpair. Heck, your only 2 possible outs (excluding the backdoor flush/straight) if behind aren't even clean. If you do hit your "miracle card" it may well make someone a straight.
