Default (NL25) - AK facing 3 bet preflop. Scary flop checked round.

Villain is 40/17/2 @ 35 hands.

What range do you put him on? He thought for quite a while before acting each time (unusual for him), so maybe that is a tell or he's just weak.

I meant to say turn. The board is scary on the turn given that there was a raise and reraise. What hand am I beating?

Why am I checking the turn? Do I call a bet? Or raise?

You have TPTK on the turn, but the hand was 3bet PF. It is likely that you could be up against a set, some form of 2 pair, or some donked out straight on the turn. Hands that have you crushed will call or raise you on the turn have you owned, hands that you have crushed will likely bet the river, just pick them off there.

Just check behind and check call the river if it is a reasonable bet.

Checking this turn is a good time for a bit of deception. Obviously we are calling a bet. A worse hand never ever calls a c/r. I dont think really any worse hands call a lead. Maybe KQ if villain got in pf with that...

If you check and it gets checked through, well, even if a bad card comes on the river, you can just check it through or call a bet...You dont have to try and take this hand too far. Poeple will take alot of stabs at the pot with really wack [censored] after the board getting checked through twice. VB river if checked to on a relative blank.
