Default Hand question - how would you have played?

How would you guys have played this hand?

Not too worried because he was shortstacked, but i guess i was too blinded by my straight flush draw and top pair, and top set on the turn...

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em (NL$10) (10 handed) link

Preflop: Hero is CO with J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG raises to $0.40, 5 folds, Hero calls $0.40, 3 folds.

Flop: ($1.05) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $0.75, UTG calls $0.75.

Turn: ($2.55) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $2.00, UTG raises all-in ($2.52), Hero calls $0.52.

River: ($7.59) 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)

Final Pot: $7.59.

Results in white:

I fold preflop. Barring that, you played it fine. Try not to be results oriented.

The only thing you did wrong is you forgot to spike the Th on the river.

ummm, besides calling pf, we all probably play it the same.

BBV it next time.

As a side note threads like this that are mainly beat posts that hold little strategic value will probably start getting locked soon.

this wasn't a beat post.

i stated this hand didn't really matter because he was shortstacked, but if he wasn't, i wanted opinions wether i should still draw for a straigh or a flush on a paired board even if i had the set...

well, wanted to know if we were both deep, if i should have called the turn

I'd pot the flop but other than that it's fine.
