okay, I tried out Ed Miller's Short-stack strategy recently, with rat-holing whenever I doubled-up (yes, feel free to berate me), and went on a wild heater with it. This is the worse thing that could have happened. Thinking 'cool', I felt confident enough to play normal ring at the same level, WAY ABOVE my bankroll management levels (NL600 at 3K or something like that). This, coupled with playing with an 'all-in' mentality that seemed to have infected me from the short-stack play soon made me close to busto, and now I'm back to .1/.25 and normality. 3K->$80 the hard way, but back on the road to rebuilding my BR now, glad to say. So take care, all.

also:

Getting a fishtank this weekend. Toyed with the idea of a marine tank, but going to get a freshwater tropical instead. A belly-up floating clownfish is infinitely sadder than a dead guppy.

50nl. But I think a deep 50nl hand could pass for SSNL.
