Event #6- 500+ Entrants as of 9am Friday (27 hrs to go)

My first post in 2+2, I'm a newbie. Thanks for all of the information here about the WSOP, it's been very helpful.

Just wanted to let all you know that Event #6 ($2K buy-in) on Saturday has over 500 entrants as of 9:00am Friday 6/30/06. Because event #2 was sold out, I asked a friend in Vegas to register for me. All I had to do was physically send him my Total Rewards Card (required) via FedEx and he was able to register for me. As an extra precaution, I also sent him a copy of my drivers license and the completed pre-registration form so he would have all of my required information.

If you have any problems with someone registering for you, you can speak to Jose in the WSOP Casino Cage (if he is working). If someone has the cash, total rewards card, pre-register form filled out completely, copy of your license (not required, but does help), they should have no problem registering for you. GOOD LUCK!!
