Default Best Route of travel from your hotel to the WSOP

Advice from anyone who can help us out with any tricks or shortcuts would be great.

I'll say this, dont' carry lots of cash in the obvious places, vegas is notorious for wallet theifs.

If you don't have a car and don't want to pay for a cab, walk to either Caesar's Palace (2nd casino south) or Harrah's across the street (and a little south). I think Harrah's would be a little quicker, but you might maximize air conditioning time with Caesar's Palace.

From either place, take the free shuttle to the Rio.

In the five years I've lived here, I've never had a wallet stolen (or attempted to be stolen) and I've never heard someone call out "Hey, my wallet has been stolen!"

I think the Free Shuttle idea and a few cabs sounds best for me. i really don't feel like getting a rental car. thanks.
