[ QUOTE ] question: do you need a power converter for thailand, and most of SE asia for that matter, or can you plug in your north american electronics normally? [/ QUOTE ] Yeah, people have stopped answering questions in this thread. It's more like "Let me tell you about my life in Thailand" now. [/ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] probably a stupid question, but stuff here plugs in there right? i know when i went to europe i couldn't plug anything in. that's not the same in thailand is it? like if i want to charge battery packs, etc.... [/ QUOTE ] Most US plugs work just fine. I reccomend picking up a power strip anywayz (for like $3) just to be sure though. They are widely available in supermarkets etc. [/ QUOTE ] Sweet Electrical Jebus! This was only like 15 replies up from 2 days earier. There is lazy and then there is Obtuse lazy! |

Hello guys, I'm currently in Bangkok and I'm looking for a nice comfortable place (bar, restaurant...) with internet, to chill and play some poker after crazy night... [/ QUOTE ] We have free wi-fi at our Sunrise Tacos sukhumvit Rd Soi 12 to Soi 14 branch as well as internet accesss ( must pay there ) at our Subway at Suk Rd 7/1. Both are open 24 hours a night. Will be setting up soon a tv and DVD showing some of the past WSOP and other tournaments at the new Sunrise expansion. Will do this early morning and afternoons as we get crowded at night and need a turnover of the seats from 6 p.m. to midnight. I've been wanting to do this and now am motivated to do it sooner rather than later. Please stop by and say hi. Greg |
