Everybody goes broke despite the risks here, right? I expect to split this a good deal of the time.

i think your kidding yourself if you expect to split this very often at all.

If your going to bet the flop, Pot it. But Im not sure I like the bet.

Turn. its ugly. The problem here is that you might be drawing dead. Both MP and SB have at least trips. I might have just called MPs min-raise.

On the flop bet at least a $1. As played, I don't mind your turn raise, but MP raises you the gig is up. I think your behind more often then your ahead so fold.

I don't understand/like the flop bet. If you do bet, bet more like $1.

As played, I would call MPs call/3-bet on the turn, and folding would honestly be an option too. That raise is the biggest "I'm gonna milk you guys for all you're worth with my FH" raise I've ever seen.

WTF @ flop bet??? What was your plan there? When MP call/raises, I think I just call behind and try to get to showdown.

I definitely fold the turn. MP's call/raise is a FH 99% of the time. And your limp preflop is too loose.

Flop bet was just a small position bet. Nobody does this?

when the best case scenario is a split, your cards should be in the muck. Period.

One more thing, GO BLUE.

People enjoy slowplaying trips, and if you hit your gs you will make a lot of money (as long as they don't have a boat). Also, it's 4 handed, so it is more likely someone hit and you will get called by a lot. So just check behind and hope to hit.

Sure we do, just not on a 5-way flop. What do you hope to accomplish by making this bet?

I don't like "small" position bets, it's usually too obvious. One of my favorite plays is to go over the top when someone in position does this, it's a profitable move IMO.

Ok good info, my play has been adjusted accordingly.

Except for the go blue part. That's terrible advice/information. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

why do we think they all have full houses? You don't think somebody would be raising with 88? And sure, at least 2 have trips, but that doesn't mean you lose on the turn.

MP called a bet then min-reraised after there was a raise and THREE calls. Why would he just call the first bet with a vulnerable hand like trip 9s on this board? Even more importantly, why would he bother to raise after the action behind him when it sure looks like the raiser has a 9? He's trying to keep everyone in the pot; there's almost zero chance his hand is not a FH.
