Re: these AQo spots really annoy me
[ QUOTE ]
I'd three bet for value and initiative [/ QUOTE ] The initiative is a disadvantage in large multiway pots, especially with one pair hands and especially when the likeliest flop bettor is in a position to help you protect your hand postflop. [ QUOTE ] I think a call is wrong because it doesn't give us a chance to fold out any limpers. I recognize that he says a three bet won't fold them. Why are we assuming that? If his table image is a typical Kit image it should fold out something, right? [/ QUOTE ] You ever played B&M poker before? I favor calling and playing a flop but a value 3bet isn't bad either. Folding sucks. Look at how little of a dog AQ is against PFR's range, and then consider the dead money and good position. Re: these AQo spots really annoy me
I assume this is live cuz of all the limpers and that you are sure they are going to call a reraise. Are you sure his range is this tight, or might he just want to gain position after you fold? If you just call, there will be 6 players to the flop so its all about who flops good anyway.
