\"+/- Cut throat\" version sign up thread.
This is a version of the popular +/- game that should hopefully run a bit quicker.
Each day anyone may move a point from any living player to any other living player. You may not move a point to/from yourself in this manner. When a player gets to zero points, they are eliminated. At the same time the player with the most points is also eliminated. There are no tie breaking, so if there are three players at 7, then the player who was most recently at 8 is eliminated, or the player who had longest been at 7 or above. This removes the element of rand(). Also, to encourage killing, if you are eliminated on a day, and haven't used your vote yet, you lose it. Eliminated players may not vote during the next day, or until after the next elimination, which ever one is longest. Players in the game have more control, as each day they have an additional power. They can 'give' a point to the player of their choice and remove one point from themselves. example, if it is 5 mets 8 chim 2 traz mets could post "give a point to chim" and the new point count would be 4 mets 9 chim 2 traz. Only an odd amount of people will allowed to sign up, so if you are the last person to sign up, and are an even numbered player, you are out. Also, once the game starts, all discussions of the game must be in thread.

I suggest 12 hour periods instead of 24 hour periods (at least).

The person with the most points is eliminated, right? Does that mean they advance, or are they just completely eliminated?

They are completely eliminated, out of the game, dead, done.
There is only one round. Thus there needs to be an oddamount of players so that the final elimination is two of three players. With one as a winner.
