Default NL 50 JJ

Villan is running like 25/17/1.6
Don't know this player enough to say if he will cr a draw here, but it's possible
The plan was to shove any non-spade turn...

Don't get greedy with your big hands. 3-bet him everytime on the flop. A flat call would be okay on a board like J5Ar, but this board is drawy enough that you need to charge him for the turn.

And why the turn check?

You've massively under-represented your hand, so you have no clue where you are on the river, giving you a really difficult decision. I probably still call, though.

shove the flop indeed.. You have top set dude! See, if you pushed the flop, he would have had an hard decision on the flop instead of you on the river.

Villain's not aggro enough to warrant a trap. Just shove flop.

yeah i like a flop push.

him having a lower set is definitely in his range so if the flush draw hits im probably putting my stack in regardless

push flop. This looks like FPS.

As played, I call the river and hope that whatever strong hand he had on the flop is still second best now.
