FT 500k FTP AJ SB CRAI?
Playing 5 handed, the SB has been playing pretty tricky. I have seen a cheap showdown where he just completed the sb, got the showdown and he had AJo, with A on flop which he didnt bet, and even checked behind on J turn.
This hand he completes again in the SB, I have AJ I make it 180k, blinds 30/60k, he pushes for another 1.4 Mil. I have him covered. Is this is a situation, where this is just a bad spot to try and make a stand since we arent really getting the odds if he has a PP or we are dominated. Or is this a spot where we have him dominated enough and hes just bsing that its worth calling. I folded but I am still not sure if its the right fold, or even a good fold at all. |

We were bottom 5, so final table. I had about 2.3 Million at the time, so I figured I could find a better spot. But thinking about it more, its probably a call.

That's a call. Yes, he can have AQ+, but he's very rarely got JJ+ and he's got to have KQ, A9s etc, often enough to make a call +EV. Winning wraps up fourth, losing is not a disaster.

Re: FT 500k FTP AJ SB CRAI?
No one even asks how often sb has been open completing and how often crispy is raising limps like that? And I really disagree a lot that it's rarely JJ+ given read of oppt. Also, how aggressive has sb been from other positions?
