Eugh sick hand. I think I call because villain can't really put you on the Ad since most people expect you to bet that on the flop, and I can't see him having any boat apart from JT or J8 the way the hand went down. Why in God's name didn't you bet the flop though?

What the hell is up with Villain's river bet? Is that a value shove? That bet size makes no sense to me.

I think I fold. I'd expect to see J10 or J8 a ton.

lol

no sane player is shoving here without at least a house++. unless you have some sick history which i doubt. folding is correct.

you lost information i think by not betting flop. mixing it up is fine but dont make it so you have to outthink yourself. you leading river also says 'hey i have the flush or better or air block' dont go broke here. if i was villian im praying you have the Ad. and not the AdQd. could be a sick bluff if villian holds the Qd, but lets rule out a bluff shall we?

edit: i just remembered ive also seen players straight shoving the river as of lately, even when they are checked to. ive seen it shown down 5-6 times each time being the stone nuts or pretty close to it.

the bet fold is fine because you generally wont be toyed with on a 4 flush board, even if the board is paired or not. people dont like to run big bluffs on obvious boards when its very easy they could run into the Ad. so i think i prefer a bet fold because of that and you can set the price.
