Re: 200nl flopped set OOP
Ugh I hate these spots. I don't think I like a shove. I'd either bet/fold 50 ( which I don't really like) or maybe check call a reasonable bet. This might be bad advice though because i suck in these situations so I'll defer to better posters

80, call a push (puke first) vs this villian. Squeeze value from Qx and other 2 pair hands.

Re: 200nl flopped set OOP
you really need to bet more on the flop and turn in these situations, then the river is much, much easier.

[/ QUOTE ] when i raise 22 and flop a set like this on a board that has flush and straight draws in a multiway pot OOP i like to bet closer to the pot, get a few more dollars in. On the turn you 1/2 potted it- were you planning to fold to a raise from this type of player? i hope not. i'd bet more there in case he has a lone club, and call a raise if it comes because of the pot size. if he just calls your larger turn bet river is an easy 1/2 pot shove to get called by all kinds of worse hands. |

Re: 200nl flopped set OOP
so that you're pot committed. I think the flop bet is fine but if you're going to bet the turn I'd bet 60 and fold to a shove. When he doesn't raise it's an easy shove on the river with the amount of money you have left in front of you.
