K,K in position...Ace high flop
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
SB ($24.95) BB ($63.85) UTG ($26.40) Hero ($52.20) MP1 ($47.85) MP2 ($19.40) MP3 ($122.30) CO ($51.95) Button ($28) Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with K, K. UTG calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2.5</font>, MP1 calls $2.50, 6 folds</font>, UTG calls $2. Flop: ($8.25) Q, A, 8 (3 players)</font> UTG checks, Hero bets $5</font>, MP1 folds, UTG calls $5. Turn: ($18.25) 2 (2 players)</font> VILLAIN Checks Bet the turn? My read is villain will play an Ace from any position, but I'm also concerned about giving a free card for J,10 or a hand w/ 2 diamonds...or now 2 spades. |

Re: K,K in position...Ace high flop
So villain checked to you? (change your format to 2+2, not flopturnriver)
Any decent sized bet on the turn will commit villain. I might check behind and call a river bet if it's a safe card. 2 diamonds are a more likely holding than 2 spades. |

So villain checked to you? [/ QUOTE ] This is pretty important, edit your post to say what villian does on the turn. If checked to I think you can bet 2/3-3/4 of the pot to get draws out, maybe your flop bet was a bit small. If called I check behind on the river if checked to. Can villian fold a weak ace or are they more of a CS? |

Re: K,K in position...Ace high flop
I would usually check turn through and call a reasonable river bet.
