Default Canterbury Question

If there are any regulars out there. Would just like to know what days the other games go besides just hold'em. So what days can you usually get an omaha/8 stud/8 or even regualar stud game? Would they ever spread a HOSE game? I can play anything up to 30/60.

4/8 o8 goes every day. 10/20 goes 2-4 times a week. 20/40 goes monday. all with 1/2 kill.

no mixed games

4/8 or 6/12 stud/8 goes on weekends some times. nothing higher than that. historically 30/60 goes during the fall classic but not sure it will this year.

As Vehn responded, there are no mixed games and the 4/8 omaha/8 game goes almost every day. The Omaha/8 game usually doesn't go on Tuesday, and sometimes it starts late on Friday. The game isn't very good, but the bickering between the regulars has some entertainment value.

The 6/12 stud/8 often goes on Friday, but the odd thing is, sometimes the game has a huge list, sometimes the game doesn't go. Last Friday there weren't enough names to start a game, the week before the list was twenty deep and not moving. Go figure. I haven't seen the 4/8 game for years.

The stud high games were great 5 years ago, but they died. 2/4 stud is all you will normally see.

Unlike the local reservation casinos, the Canterbury dealers are capable of running non HE games, and the board people are usually accommodating. The problem is finding players.

good luck

Thanks will probably try to play the 20/40 Omaha/8 game on monday. I'll probably play the 15/30 hold'em if it doesn't go. Seems like a mixed game would be popular during the fall classic and if all the dealers can deal all the games maybe someone could persuade the management to start one.

As long as the current management is in place, you will never see a mixed game at Canterbury.

andy,

do you know if this because of management, or because of some state gaming rules?
