Top pair on flop, but is it good enough?
Absolute Poker, $5/$10 full ring.
UTG+1 has VPIP 27%, pf raise 5% and agg.factor 0.18/1.23/1.71/1.0 UTG+2 is tight passive. Comments on all streets appreciated. I am BB and hold Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 raises, folded to me and I call, UTG+1 now reraises, UTG+2 and I call. Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I bet, UTG+1 raises, UTG+2 folds, I call Turn: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I check, UTG+1 bets, I call River: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I bet .. |

Re: Top pair on flop, but is it good enough?
Since you decided to just call down, I wouldn't bet the river I'd check/call, a better hand will raise you which will probably mean that you'll fold, a worse hand like a missed flush might take another stab at you.

Why are you betting this river? I hope at least your plan is to bet/fold.
