Default Poker Ace Problem

When I open pokerace it says your DNS entry is out of date please contact your isp about updating it. What exactly does this mean?

I get the same problem. It's because their server moved to a new IP. I don't know how how to fix it though. You could try removing your router if you have one and connecting your modem directly to your computer.

Post your solution here if you fix the problem.

It didn't work, but thanks for the help. I don't know why it just stopped after two months of working perfectly fine. I don't have a router, it's a strange problem, I really don't want to switch ISP but that may be my only option.

I'm getting this same problem. I took out my router and connected directly to the modem, but I'm still getting the problem. I tried contacting my ISP, and they said they are getting an error message saying the site (www.pokeracesoftware.com) is down for maintenance?

I can access the site at work but they use a different isp then I do at home, which means "down for maintanece" doesn't make sense. I sent a message to Josh (Site Owner) he basically said it's all on my end and there's nothing he can do. I wasn't impressed, we did pay, he should send us a version that doesn't need to be registered, or get his [censored] together because I have no problem accessing any other site on the net.

This is correct. Telling people to rearrange their modems/routers because he's changed his hosting company is BS. He should have arranged to have the site on both servers while the DNS changes propagated, no excuses.

Its just that the dns changes havent propagated yet. It takes time if its not done right. It can take up to 2 days.

Get the new ip from pokerace and do the following
Start | run | cmd.exe
cd %windir%\sysetm32\drivers\etc
notepad hosts

Add the followling line to the bottom:

82.165.132.175 pokeracesoftware.com

Where 82.165.132.175 is whatever the current ip of pokeracesoftware.com is.
