wouldn't be opposed to him playing anywhere which ups the odds he'll visit the 'pound in Cleveland some day.

[/ QUOTE ]

That would be very ironic.

At a players assoc meeting earlier this year most of the player reps wanted both Pacman and Henry banned 4 ever.

The NFL doesn't need to ban him for life

Just give him a 5 year suspension. does the same thing

One thing I just realized that this plea means is that Vick technically lied to both the Falcons organization and the NFL when he claimed the charges were BS. That isn't going to help his case. IIRC that is what Pacman's suspension was technically for.

if this lets the Falcons out of (some) of Vick's contract, it's probably a good thing for them.

I'm no expert, but shouldn't there be some sort of opt out for Atlanta if Vick (or anyone else) commits some sort of egregious act or get a felony conviction? (Meaning they can let him go entirely.)

IANAL, but I would guess they would be entitled to at least some relief, since Vick certainly isn't able to fulfill his end of the contract cooling his heels in a federal penitentary.

They are definitely going to get back the 22million in his signing bonus if he can't play. I would assume the NFL [censored] cans Vick and ATL gets a prorated section of his contract back.
