way 1 is closer you morons, the person with the low from the previous hole has honors which carrys over if you guys tie the next hole, you shoot, they shoot, farthest from the hole goes first.

Ok I'll post my opinion now:
I am a firm believer in Way #2. Her reasons for supporting number 1 are: "It's more like real golf rules" "Knocking other people's balls is part of the game/strategy" My reasons for supporting number 2: "The course is way too small for everyone's balls to be out there at once, it makes it too random, more variance, less skill" "Most people seem to play this way" Just go to your local mini golf play and you will see most people play by way 2. I've played many many many times over the years and can't recall anyone playing any other way. Plus someone was able to dig up some rules from some organization stating this is the correct way. Finally, the real golf way of doing it farthest from the hole is just absurd. 1. This isn't real golf, just like HORSE is not real basketball 2. Golfers routinely let someone "putt out" when they reach the green, and this game is all about putting, you're already "on" the green. Plus in pro golf you usually play with a single partner on a hole at a time, whereas in mini golf you may be with a group of 6 folks. Everyone trying to figure out "who's next" would be chaos.
