Default 100NL flopped trips, turned boat... hero folds?

100NL on Pokerstars.

Villian ($180) seems loose not overly aggressive, but no real read. 33/17/.9 over 45 hands.

Villian calls UTG, 1 other caller. Hero ($145) calls with 66 in late position. SB calls, BB checks. Pot = $5

Flop comes Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Check. Check. Villan bets $5. 1 Fold. Hero raises to $15. Fold. Fold. Villian calls.

Pot = $36

Heads-up. Turn is 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Villian bets all-in.

Hero????

I am not good enough to lay this down. I think his range is wider that just 99,qq, and Q9. I would only lay down this set if I could see his cards before I folded.

You'll be shown a random nine enough times to make this a call. Would he not raise QQ preflop? If you meet quads so be it.

please call

would you have folded if the 9 didn't come? THat just makes it less likely he has 99 and more likely to overvalue A9. That 9 is a great card.

You could ask the same thing about tripping his 9.
