Re: sb tp 2nd kicker unraised pot
[ QUOTE ]
Yeah, I was just being a smartarse but my point is it's not an easy fold if we're raised readless. I don't like leading or raising here. We only get called when we're behind or a little ahead and then we're OOP for the rest of the hand with a whole bunch of cards that suck to come, either because he shuts down or we have to. [/ QUOTE ] That's a good point, and maybe it's a leak in my game, when I see KQo in this spot, my first thought (immediately followed by my second) is "it's going to suck when the turn comes, but I need to thin the field when I'm ahead and get value from draws, so obv. lead here." So what happens when you check and player X leads? Simply smooth call and re-evaluate the turn? Then what on the turn when 3s comes up? Lead 1/2 pot and fold to a raise? Check/call again? btw, against a generous range of hands that includes all reasonable flush draw possibilities / straight possiblities, we're basically a flip, which is why CRing sucks (and probably leading). Just thought you'd like to know, Ham. Barry |

Re: sb tp 2nd kicker unraised pot
