Default bodog angleshooting??

no hand history, so quickly...

fast forward to the river on an ace-high board. i have AT, and am fairly confident, so i put a pot-sized bet in...

villain times out, and because bodog automatically puts a person all-in (thereby allowing them to not call a bet, yet still win the pot if they have the best hand), he doesn't have to call, shows KK, and loses.

3 seconds after the hand, he's back in the game, which means it wasn't a connection problem.

now, i won the hand, but feel this was a ridiculous angle-shoot, as he probably figured i had an ace, but if he times out, he doesn't have to call that bet (which he's unsure about), yet still can win the 1/2 buy-in pot if KK stands up..

i'm pretty [censored] heated right now...

Does bodog allow this yes
Is this wrong yes
Is there a way to fix this not easily

Would you rather there not be disconnect protection?

For me i like this it doesn't help me however it makes donks single tabling feel more secure.

If you have to put up with [censored] like this to make the fishies happy.

also this doesn't seem like the right forum but don't know where it should go.

We are contacting you with regard to complaints we have received from
other players concerning the timing and nature of disconnects during
your play. After reviewing the hands that were brought to our attention,
we saw that you disconnected at a very crucial point in a hand that
could have been to your benefit. Intentionally disconnecting to avoid
calling another player's raise is abuse of the Disconnection Protection.

Disconnection Protections are given to players in recognition of the
potential disconnection issues that are a natural result of playing poker
on the Internet. This protection is a privilege that is extended to
players by Bodog poker, and as such this privilege may be revoked at any
time.

This communication is to let you know that we will be regularly
reviewing your account for abuse of the Disconnection Protection. If this
pattern of disconnections continues, your protection privileges will be
revoked and your account may be suspended.

We thank you for your attention and consideration in this matter.

If you require any further assistance, please do not hesitate to
contact us.

Regards,

Poker Customer Service

I just saw at a table guy had 10 10 another guy KK 5 handed 4 bets preflop... flop comes JJX guy with KK over bets the pot and pushes his stack.... guy with 10 10 disconnects and free rolls river and turn - would have only been worse if the guy caught a 10 and actually won the pot but in any regard I left the table.... what a joke.
