put him either 44/KQ/AK on flop

[/ QUOTE ]
so with only 26% equity against his range why call on the flop?

Your hand is pretty obvious, so he is loudly declaring that (a) he can beat AK/AA, and (b) his has isn't strong enough to slowplay to the turn.

So probably 2p. Unless you have reason to think that he would bluff this hard, or play a JT draw this hard (and it doesn't sound like you do), he pretty much has you beat.

I think your two choices are folding on the flop, maybe turn, or 3-bet the flop hard to represent a monster. The latter option also assumes something about the size of your underpants.

top 2 or set doesn't fold nearly often enough to risk $100 for $29

u do realize that AA is a HUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference here, right? give the board pair down low

as played....i hate this spot. i think im folding the river. strength of villians line is crazy.

and i agree that range on the flop is KQ/44 often. i dont rly think AK is there tho. so ur pretty smoked on the flop. i guess i fold the turn being i cant see us beating much more than JT, which i dont think we will b shown here nearly enuff to turn a profit

as played I fold the turn. you beat nothing but KJ/air and I don't think villain shows up with those a lot taking this line.

Or he flopped a set and turned quads. Reads would help -- is he bad enough to play K4s or Q4s? You raised UTG and he doesn't care at all. His turn bet of 24/38 looks like pure value to me... run away fast.

This was my first thought. I may add J10 to his range also.

Not sure how tricky opponent is, but u did kinda telegraph your hand. I think you took a really weak line and cost yourself more to find out the info. I personally think u have to either fold on the flop, or be willing to get it in on the flop. Going into a shell and just calling down looks weak and is costly if you're ever folding to a river shove after calling all that money down. If you're not folding to a river shove then just get it in on the flop. I REALLY dislike the turn flat call.

I think you should fold turn. calling river is really bad imo, so deffinately fold. Your just not beating much and without reads hes capable of doing this with j10 its easy fold..
