He must have you on pocket rockets, you want to 3 bet it to see if he's serious? That ain't no cheap SD raise, he's got KQ or better.

Only reason to call him down is metagame, turn donks or C/R usually mean just what they seem to.

Wait till the timer beeps, then fold.

Well, I think the question is could you see UTG playing a flush draw like this? I don't understand why he wouldn't c/r. But then what the hell is he possibly betting out here? This puts me in a tough spot because I want to charge him for a flush, but I really don't want to be 3bet. So I would c/c and c/c a non heart river.

What do you think he thinks of you? Are you a showdown monkey?

Edit:

I think villian could also have something from 88-AA and doesn't want you checking the turn. Besides the obvious hands

I'd probably look him up

TYS,

You are correct that a good player should bet the turn with trips (to not let overpairs check behind). Of course a good player would also bet a flush draw for mixing purposes. It puts you in a tough spot.

Scary, I don't get it. I call down here every [censored] time, and I get shown a better hand. Does not seem worth it.

99-JJ, Ax [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] . Guaranteed showdown for 2BB and you get to make sure a bet goes on the river since you can value bet anything but an A if he checks to you. Plus 2 outs to a boat. Do not fold.

60K hands of "good calldowns" with bad results is variance, not mubs. Or actually bad calldowns. We are only counting on a tag donking both flop & turn with a flush draw. He like never donks with an underpair. How is it mubs?
