I think I probably bet the turn here to charge the ace of clubs/king of clubs/AK or even to get value from a hand like 7s or 8s, which people have been opening big up front with in my experience lately.

I guess the check is okay.

Preflop is kind of tricky, I think the call is good. Call flops like this, generally give it up to strong turn aggression but it's really read dependent and basically you gave me absolutely nothing on that front.

Flop play is good. Raising sucks because you are putting your stack in (basically) and you are only getting called/pushed on by things that have you drawing to outs minus two hands (AK,AQ clubs since we have the jack of clubs and he can't have a J10,Q10,K10,A10 clubs since that is out there).

I fold flop and feel really good about it. Nobody over bets pot with AK/AQ, i mean MAYBE if its specifically AcKc or AcQc but mostly people are doing this to protect a hand already made so QQ+ and 99/TT beat you.

I like flop fold.

Did you have any sort of a read on the villain?

Not really sure I could fold the flop. Big EP raise so not putting him on AA,KK and big flop bet, I think you see a medium pair here a lot, vbet the turn and find out. If you get called it could still be a med pair plus having position you can check behind on river...

Bond,

Though I think villain could definitely pot a flop here with aces or kings I'm not ruling out the fact that he feels like he can exert some muscle with AK/AQ and try to push hands that have him beat out with his big flop bet.

I just felt a 4xbb raise was a bit strong to open a pot with a hand like aces or kings that you want some action with?
