Could I argue that he's probably not on a draw with the turn bet from his side?

checking the turn is sick your giving a ton of hands free cards to kill u , he could have called with QT maybe 2 spades ...the check on the turn is pretty bad IMO

his range is pretty wide after the flop, could be any pair, straight draw with 8T/QT, stubborn overcards etc

i dont think he bets the turn with any pair, (unless 2pair) and he may or may not bet his draw. take the safe route and fire again on the turn. charge draws and give him the chance to put more money in with a J. if you had a read he was agro with draws then i really like a c/r on the turn. you can still get value from a J if checks behind and you bet the river, and you charge more for draws.

since you dont have that read, just keep betting

Good call on river, can't fold a set for $14 with only QT or AA beating you.
