Relation between omaha and holdem
i recently began playing omaha (25PLO) and after about 2k hands im liking it more than 25nlhe. my win rate is higher and im much more confident in my reads. i used to be a mainly 25nlhe hu/ 3-player and 3-tabled the $5 super turbo sngs on bodog but its hard to find short handed let alone hu omaha games. im relatively new to the game but i hope to read and post here more often and im sorry for asking a noob question but i read the faqs and didnt get the answers i was looking for. im doing well now but id like to know if its a rush or if i really did start off with a good understanding of the game thanks to holdem. if anyone has any tips, suggestions, general comments, id really appreciate it, thanks.

[ QUOTE ]
i read the faqs and didnt get the answers i was looking for. [/ QUOTE ] Huber - Try this: Go to the search box and type "NLHE to PLO" (including the quotation marks). You'll get a listing of some posts from several threads where a transition from Texas hold 'em to Omaha has been discussed before. All of your questions may not be answered. [ QUOTE ] its hard to find short handed let alone hu omaha games. [/ QUOTE ]Go to the search box and type "heads up" (including the quotation marks). You'll get a listing of 200 posts involving heads up play. Some of them talk about where. Try "short handed" for a listing about short handed games. I just did that and got a listing of over 150 posts. There may be a lot of garbage to wade through to find what you want. Maybe it's not here. Buzz |

Re: Relation between omaha and holdem
pokerstars has hu tables at the bottom of the omaha hi cash game area. i would suggest learning at 6-max or full ring before transitioning to hu.
