Re: ipoker 200bb i bluff arrrinn
I think a reasonably-sized turn raise looks a hell of a lot stronger than a overbet shove, and will fold out more hands, maybe even an Ace. It's cheaper when he has a big Ace. You can fold to a 3bet.

if you think your hand is the best at this point, why not raise? [/ QUOTE ] Think about that for a while............ This can be good, but it's pretty villain dependant. He's gonna have a hard time stacking off here with less than AK.....and he may even fold that if he thinks you're never bluffing here. Also, Requin, I agree with your statement, but obviously villain cannot just assume we are thinking along those lines here with a big hand. If you think about this hand from villain's perspective, our line looks sick strong here. |

Re: ipoker 200bb i bluff arrrinn
So i have basically got every answer there is in this thread, including a couple ridiculous ones.
I felt this was quite a reasonable spot for him to be bluffing, or even betting QQ or KK just to probe me, as if he has either of those both checking or betting sucks so he is very capable of betting here. We also don't really have much in the way of 200bb metagame (which imo changes a lot) and i don't make a habit of making big bluffs like this. I also thought he was quite able to fold AK here, and really could only call me with AT/sets. So thats why i made the bluff. |

I'm never raising this turn, with anything... I'm not a big fan unless you think he'd believe you for AK [/ QUOTE ] so you dont raise TT or AA or ATs? Yeah I think that this board allows villain to look you up light, although I do think villain will be folding here alot. |
