Way too long. Tarot cards? Paying for kids private school with $20,000 over 2.5 years? Must be a cheap/shatty school.

WTF. What kind of private schools do you live by? Around here the VERY BEST private grade schools are only $4,100 a year. Great schools are only $2,000-$3,500. The national average is only about $3,100 per year. So he made enough to send his kid to school for 6 years and not even worry about it. Sounds like he did fine to me.

Ok -- I transgress -- so sue me. Abstinence from March 6 to March 20 inclusive... Not too bad... I'll try again sometime.

End of post unless of course I need to post witty responses to disparaging statements from mean heads...

GOOD GUESS -- SHE IS AT THE ROOT OF MY QUITTING RIGHT THERE NEXT TO MY KID. She's made no real demands, but she is uncomfortable with the TIME I commit to the game and I think she's got a good point.

My wife doesnt like it when poker puts me in a bad mood, and I dont like the fact that I'm perfectly capable of playing poker and ignoring her (and our daughter) for hours on end. So I cut way back, and only play after both of them are asleep, and usually only on weekends. It works for me.

Default Good Decision, Good Luck

"Any game that consumes this much time and energy and aggravates me to this extent cannot be good for my health. "

That, but moreso your family responsibilities and time commitments, are really good reasons to quit.

Good luck.
