Default wired 100/200 hand against barny boatman

Im sure he has no idea who i am or how i play. ive been on this table about 45mins, got stacked twice early on but made a good recovery. i played pretty agressive but havent shown down anything crazy yet.
he has been playing a little too many hands (about 40% vpip) and generally rather passivly, other then that - no reads.

5-handed

Seat 1: Hero ($53,426)
Seat 4: Barny Boatman ($42,060)

*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Hero [Jd Jc]
1 fold
Hero raises to $700
2 folds
Barny Boatman calls $500
*** FLOP *** [2d 7s 2h]

Hero bets $900
Barny Boatman raises to $1,800
xdhaj calls $900
*** TURN *** [2d 7s 2h] [6c]
Barny Boatman checks
Hero bets $3,200
Barny Boatman raises to $6,400
Hero calls $3,200
*** RIVER *** [2d 7s 2h 6c] [As]
Barny Boatman bets $33,160, and is all in
Hero folds
Uncalled bet of $33,160 returned to Barny Boatman
Barny Boatman mucks
Barny Boatman wins the pot ($17,897)

I like a flop 3bet, there's a very good chance he puts you on a bluff

i considered that, but this commits me to the hand imo. for example i make it 6600 and he comes over the top again, lets say 15k. now i have to call and call an all-in on the turn too because i set this play up. i just didnt feel like stacking off 200bb with jacks there

he seems kind of donkish - playing too many hands, especially oop and generally not agressive enough, but dont nail me on this i only played about an hour with him so far.

kinda looks like he slowplayed a big pair preflop, and is pulling a double c/r for value against your fairly obvious mid-high pair. I guess it could be trip deuces or sevens full or quads (or air, though for him to take this whole line with air would be kinda insane)

I might fold turn, unless he had a habit of not betting river. def fold river as played unless he's loco.

and i dont like a flop 3-bet, for the same reasons you gave. it makes the pot too big given the size of your hand.
