Default Quick checkup 5/10 6-max

Party 5/10 NL 6-max

Hand #1

Effective stack is $1200.

Hijack raises to $35, CO makes it $128, folded to me in the SB w/ A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], I make it $333. Hijack folds, CO calls.

2 players ($708)

Flop: Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I push.... Good, bad, or standard?

Also, what if flop was: Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Fire away? Check and ...fold?

===============================

Hand #2

Effective stack is $1000.

Button open raises to $35, I reraise to $135 from the SB w/ K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Button calls.

2 players ($277)

Flop: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet $135, Button calls.

2 players ($547)

Turn: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I check, button bets $264, I call.

2 players ($1075)

River: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I push for my remaining $466....

Comments? Turn call ok?

Hand 1, I just make it 400 and push any flop, pretty much. Or flat call and c/f a miss, c/r a hit.

Hand 2, standard. I may push any river, but I certainly push this perfect card...

Why did you 4-bet PF in hand 1?

Why not?

I have a nice hand. Taking it down preflop wouldn't be too bad either.

Because you only get called by hands that crush you or are flipping coins with you? You're risking most of your stack to win $150 - if you're committed to shoving any flop.

It depends on how loose HJ and CO are, obviously, but in general I don't like 4 betting here.

Hand 1 of course you shove, I would usually c/f though on the non-FD flop.
Hand 2 is ok, again shove on river, I often follow through and fire the turn though.

[/ QUOTE ] What are you talking about? I think a bluff shove on a blank river would be awful.

Triumph I don't see whats wrong with 4-betting AK. Do you only 4-bet with big pairs/air?

Hand 1 - Unless i know CO's reraising range is wide, i like the flat call plan a lot better.

it's HJ/CO at 5/10 6m. you can expect ranges to be at least somewhat wide here.

and bluff shoving the river in hand 2 is not terrible at all, depending on many things.
