I have no idea and could give you only wild/uneducated speculation. Anybody care to postulate as to why Paytru no longer issues cards?

Outside of pokerstars, no. Your account is almost worthless. You should be able to deposit on your card, then transfer your money to stars. Then you'll have to withdrawl by check from stars. (make sure you play some first of course). No other buisness will take the card without the correct CVV number.

I have a paytru card with a cvv number (not 000). I have used it successfully at an ATM, although its been awhile. I want to withdraw from Stars and deposit on Cake for my first deposit there.

Any experience or opinions as to whether this will work? I just signed up with epass and my account has not been verified yet and I don't think I want to wait for it.

It seems to have worked on a couple of other sites, but I haven't seen Cake mentioned. Why not try it and see, then let us know? It can't hurt...

I tried with a Simon Visa - no luck. Haven't heard of any having success, but just try. Worst that happens is you get declined.

I just got a "unable to validate PIN" error from the website, and the support system cut me off with an "unable to process your call" error. Is paytru running off with our monies?
