Default \"Card Checking\"

buddy of mine was playing in an online SNG 2 nites ago and player @ table asked him if he was "Card Checking" does this term mean anything ive never heard it used before can anyone out there shed some light on this thanks in advance.

Probably referring to checking Hand History after each hand.

Sounds to me like he was making a joke.

Say for example your friend is taking forever to act everytime it gets to him. If it were live play, one might think he was stopping to look at (or "check") his hole cards every time it got to him to act.

So, asking if he is card checking online is a joke, suggesting that your friend is doing the equivalent of checking his hole cards every time it gets to him to act, which means he is taking forever. Tell your friend to play faster.

Of course I could be way off. Who knows what the [censored] this guy was talking about.
