Flight of the Conchords is at the top, Always Sunny and the Office are in competition for my #2 spot.

Did anyone watch The Big Bang Theory on CBS on Monday?

Any good?

[/ QUOTE ]

Horrible.

The permise fails because the nerds just aren't written as real humans, but cliches of what some bad writer thinks a nerd might be. Kindof a shame, because the chick is pretty solid and her intereaction with the nerds actually seems plausible.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, the chick is smokin hot and actually a solid actress. But the writing and the actors were pretty bad.

IFC's "Minor Accomplishments of Jackie Woodman".

Hit-n-miss, but when Laura Kightlinger connects, serious rofl lmfao loling ensues.

Flight of the Conchords

I have to add one more song, this one is up there as one of my favorites.

Rhymenocerous VS. Hiphopopotomus

"They call me the hiphopopotomus, my lyrics are bottomless................................" I don't think I can ever get sick of that line.

Holy [censored], I had heard good things about Flight of the Conchords, but I didn't know it was this good. I can't stop watching the youtube clips.

[/ QUOTE ]
Yeah, I've been watching it a bit lately. Everyone loved it but I couldn't really get into it at first. It's grown on me, though, and the songs are genius. I don't understand why they don't just double-team the living [censored] out of Mel and live out every filthy fantasy they've ever had on her, though. I heard they used up a lot of their ideas the first season... they could get, like, three episodes just out of the sex scene.

Re: FLight of the Conchords

Has anyone listened to the BBC radio show they did before the HBO version? it's pretty good, two discs worth of episodes. A lot of them are bits they end up doing on HBO, but it''s cool to see the evolution of them, and some are funnier in this version than on their current show. I particularly like the way they did the phony contract storyline.

I kind of assumed this is how it would be. Probably not so much a bad writer's idea of a nerd as the general public's idea of a nerd. Catering to the actual nerd crowd would not be a big enough market.
