Is there a way to get email notification of post replies?

On phpBB forums you can check a box when you post, and when you do so you'll get an email every time somebody replies to your post.

Is there something similar here? If so how do I set it up?

Set the post as a Favourite Topic (bottom of the page)
In your "My Home", there's an option to receive email replies to favourite threads.

...except it doesn't work. I've added posts to my favourites, and I've got it set up to email me. For some reason I'm not getting them though.

Are there any known problems with particular email providers? I use Gmail at the moment. And before somebody says it - yes, I've typed my email address in correctly.

i use this feature all the time; i get many threads emailed to me (like >1000, i think, although many threads have no new posts in them, and hence, i am not deluged with email traffic).

i use gmail, and have had no issues (although sometimes they arrive in my email box out of order)
