no doubt u guys earned it, i just cant beleive how the philly bullpen terrible all season suddenly stepped up and was lights out, its like the met and philly bullpens swapped places.

gl in the postseason altho personally i think the phillies will steamroll the NL and cruise into what shud be an exciting world series. very good chance to win it all.

what a [censored] game.

just perfect execution, Nunez getting that bunt down, Tad coming in and getting the sac fly right after. Moyer pitched a nice game, the bullpen was phenominal, with Romero and Gordon getting those big GIDPs.

just [censored] awesome.

what else can you really say about this team? Everybody just played so well this year to get through the tough spots.

Kendrick, 10-4 as a rookie. outstanding.

Lohse, incredible acquisition, pitched incredibly well.

Burrell, red hot 2nd half.

and the list really just goes on.. Rowand, career year. Werth, had some huge defensive plays and that stretch after he came back from the injury where he was on fire at the plate. Tad coming in for Utley and doing a fine job in the field and at the plate.

Howard another huge numbers year (strikesouts included [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img])

And Chase was Chase. didn't even miss a [censored] beat after coming back from the broken hand.

just a phenominal team effort all year.



... oh, and of course J-Roll is the M-V-[censored]-P


So, if anybody besides me has any Yuengling lager on hand, have a few for the Phillies today.

i know the mets collapsed, but it doesn't change the fact that the phillies played great baseball down the stretch...u guys have some flat out great weapons on offense and congrats on the division title...
