5/10 , TT vs 36/8 bluff machine, whats my line?

Villain in this hand is running at 36/8 over 300 hands. From what I notice he peels very light and while he isn't aggressive raising he's very aggressive betting the river when checked to. He's done this on several occasions for huge pots and has shown both legitimate hands and bluffs with crappy draws. River AF is 4.0.

So what's the best line here? I feel he's peeling the flop with a fairly wide range from 33s to 77s to any random hand with an 8. I didn't really want to face a bit bet on the river, but then again this isn't the type of spot hes been bluffing in (busted gutshots on flush boards, etc). On the other hand hes checking back random 8s and pocket pairs that I beat but may call a bet. Is a small block/value bet here way too thin?

Agreed, perfect example of when to throw a medium blocking bet out. Check if you love puking in your own mouth.

Are we ever, ever getting bluff shoved by this type of villain on this board if we make a blocking bet?

I think it would be rare, but of course it's hard to say without knowing the person's tendencies or capabilities. I think the Ace actually helps reduce the amount he will bluff shove the river.

id just bet like $333, i doubt he ever bluff shoves over that..

you could b/c because only 88/77/22 raise the river, unless he is floating Axcc and shoving over a big river bet. and A8.
I think you should half pot it and call a raise
