Bet more on the flop--make it $4.50. Continue on the turn for $6. There's a lot of cards I get his money in on the river, I'd like to be laying him something real good plus you've got fold equity against what is probably a really weak line.

[/ QUOTE ]are you aware we have 8 high? giving him good odds on the river is the worst thing you can do. check behind turn and hope to improve or hope he checks river and fire the river.

6 doesn't change anything hes not folding especially in a limped pot. i check behind on the turn, but i raise more on the flop to pot ~~ so 4.5. any reason why you limped pf? i'm always raising this.
