[/ QUOTE ] yup, hunting is deer is a good thing, since we've killed off most of the wolves all you putzes who talk about rehabilitating sick animals should go help out with the wolves... there's programs that do that sort of thing less deer, more wolves imo [/ QUOTE ] Actually there are so many Timberwolves around here you would be suprised. They take down a small portion of the deer population too. Though timbers are still very well protected.

MN and WI( i think) have programs where you can drop off deer you shot at designated butchers and they cut them up and use them at foodshelves.

[/ QUOTE ] For rifle season, I shoot a .280 Remington A-bolt with a 3.5x10 Leupold scope. I've always wanted to take up bow hunting, but have never found the time in the fall with all the duck, goose, and grouse hunting I do that time of year. I've been considering getting a bow and possibly trying next year.
