Re: what kind of ISP connection do you guys have?
I have comcast digital cable and the cable modem...solid solid connection...I can't remember ever getting disconnected playing poker online in 4 years.

Verizon DSL - No real problems but I, at most, only play 4 tables.

Qwest DSL. Very few disconnections in 5+ years.

Re: what kind of ISP connection do you guys have?
I've got bellsouth DSL which I thinks sucks. Gotta reset the router twice a week. Had an overpair with JJ today and bam no connection. Luckily got it back to make the c-bet on stars. I wish I had business class cable from comcast, but comcast sucks so bad I don't know if it would make a difference. Plus I live with my parents so I don't know if I'd be able to get it.

Atlantic Broadband -- Never had an issue before except when the town lost power for a few days.
DSL and Cable are both going to be sufficient but there is no "better" connection as both are very dependent on your area. Avoid satellite though. |

Re: what kind of ISP connection do you guys have?
Yeah, I called all around. I can't seem anything better. I can't switch to verizon since they don't offer service in my area, and my only hope is to run DSL at the same time.
Maybe I should just find the problem, but I have no idea what it is. |
