Sorry dude, this is a load of bull. I've seen several cases of divorces that were settled very amicably, although I'll agree that there is usually some amount of disagreement/hostility.

FWIW i remember reading that they broke off the engagement at one point before they worked it out and got married. Sounds like a reasonable divorce and since they have no children it seems that it's not that big a deal. I really don't understand the DN hating that goes on on 2P2... he seems like a pretty decent guy to me.

I think Lori being from a really conservative christian background may be a stretch to be with someone that is obviously from a a very liberal background who makes his living hanging out with a lot of degens and oddball people.

I did exaggerate a bit, but I interned for a divorce/family lawyer and saw a lot of this crap happening. Custody cases are the worst though. So much mudslinging and insulting that it gets pretty scary.

Then again, I don't have much of a sample size on that.
