POG Anniversary Game Discussion

We have decided to take Neil Stevens suggestion of refranchising POG vs. Mods (with Tokyo!!'s permission, of course), but require everyone to make a gimmick account. Here are the old roles:

The following roles are in this game. Any attempt to massive role-claim a la what bobo did in that turbo of Horns a while back where everyone said who they were is considered cheating and grounds for mod-kill. Please do not ruin the game that way.

<u>Good:</u>

Tokyo!! - may prevent own lynch one day, you cannot fake this power, any fakes will be mod-killed, state that you are tokyo in thread, any votes on you are instantly taken off and left as an unvote, players must revote in order to have a vote for that day, if peeked appears as "Pogger."

BobO - Randomly decided paranoid/insane/naive seer. He is told he is a regular seer, and appears as "Seer" if peeked.

Hornacek - Mason Role, starts alone, may recruit a player each night that he can talk to at all times, any player may be recruited with 100% efficiency. Horn may choose to not recruit anyone on any given night. If Hornacek dies, no more players may be recruited but the other remaining masons may continue to speak. A maximum of 4 players may be in the masonry at any one time. Recruiting starts on Night 1 (not Night 0). Appears as "Pogger" if peeked.

thebram, chuckles - Standard seer role. Does not get a free peek on Night 0. Appears as "Seer" if peeked.

Shortline - Standard doctor role. May protect any player but himself. Must protect a player each night, or else their protection is RAND()'ed. He has 50/50 protection on any seer (including BobO character). Appears as "Shortline" if peeked.

Willmagic - Vigilante character. He only gets 3 bullets, each with a 50/50 chance of killing intended target. Appears as "Willmagic" if peeked.

Our House - Potion bearer. May force one player to drink the potion and commit suicide at any time with 100% effectiveness, this is done through secret PM/AIM with me. If peeked, appears as "Pogger."

Amplify - He is blessed with distracting avatar power. As night falls, he may PM me and switch one player's vote to any player of his choosing. This may only be used twice, but may be used on the same day. Appears as "Pogger" if viewed.

<u>Neutral:</u>

kyro - Angry serial killer. Wins on his own, gets a kill every night. He has 75/25 effectiveness on the following players: Shortline, All 3 seers, Hornacek (not his masons), and the 5 major evil Mods. If peeked, appears as "Pogger."

wdcbooks - Has revenge kill power. If lynched, the last player to vote for him that day, dies during the night. He wins with the village and is told he is village. If peeked, appears as "wdcbooks."

GT1T - LOL VILLAGE role. He has seer type powers. Each night he views a player and is told that the player is either a pogger or a mod (neutrals appear as pogger). If he is able to successfully view all 5 mods before dying (or has viewed all remaining living mods), he gets to say "LOL VILLAGE," brag about how awesome he is and better than the village at finding bad guys(he cannot reveal who the mods are). He then wins on his own and gets to leave the game. If he dies before viewing them, he loses. He does not need to view scott/chuck/zurvan. The only caveat, is that he cannot use his "peeks" to his advantge because he is not a true seer. He cannot divulge his peeks or 'fake' seer. Any attempts to use his information to his advantage (outside of, I think XXX is pog, or YYY is a mod, as long as he is not concrete about it) will result in instant mod-kill. If peeked, appears as "Pogger."

nuggetz - Standard Great Flying Pumpkin Role. If peeked, appears as "nuggetz."

<u>Evil:</u>

durron - Standard godfather role. Appears as "Pogger" if viewed.

VR - Standard "roleblocker" role. This role is usually termed something else, but VR is too much a lady for that. Appears as "VR" if peeked.

JaredL - Has votebuying power, similar to amplify's power, may only be used twice, but may be used on the same day. Appears as "Evil Mod" if peeked.

diebitter - Standard evil. Appears as "Evil Mod."

Madtown - Standard evil. Appears as "Evil Mod."

Scotthoward - Miller role, if lynched, revealed as evil, but told he is village. The evils know who he is and may use him to their advantage, but cannot converse with him. Appears as "Evil Mod" if peeked.

xorbie- Evil bastard, is allowed to converse with the mods, and works with them, but if lynched appears as a villager. He does not need to be lynched for the POGgers to win. Consider him an honorary evil mod. Appears as "Pogger" if peeked.

His Boy Elroy - Corruptible gimmick role. If targeted for death by the Mods, is converted to their side, thus changing from the nice HBE to the evil PatrickDuffy. He is told he is a regular Pogger, and is notified if he has been converted. Appears as "Pogger" if peeked before conversion, "Evil Mod" if peeked after.

please post what roles you liked and what you didn't, and any new role ideas you have. we will be using none, some, or all of your ideas. Also, one major question: even though it is anonymous, should we reveal player identities on death or wait until after the game?

Obvious omissions:
Traz, KM, zero, zurvan

(hmm 3 Canadians, conspiracy?)

I suggest scrapping the OH role and making zero and OH lovers as in earlier mish-mashery.
